Abstract

The relationships among recycled aggregate concrete's compressive strength, the water/cement ratio, replacement ratio of recycle daggregate and age were studied. The results indicated that the development for the compressive strength of recycled aggre-gate concrete is the same as that of normal concrete. The recycled coarse aggregate replacement ratio has a remarkable influence on the compressive strength of recycled aggregate concrete. The relationships between the compressive strength and the water/cement ratio are also different in different situations. Finally, based on thetest results, some useful conclusions are obtained, which can be provided as a reference for the design of recycled concrete mixture ratio.
