Abstract

Objective To inhibit the expression of survivin in pancreatic cancer cell PANC-1 with RNAi.Methods The expression of survivin was examined with RT-PCR and immunocytochemistry,and the siRNA expression vectors targeting survivin were constructed and transfected into PANC-1 cells with liposomes.The expression of survivin mRNA was detected with RT-PCR.Results There was a high degree expression of survivin in PANC-1 cells;the expression of survivin was inhibited by about 60% by the siRNA expression vectors.Conclusion The siRNA expression vector could inhibit the expression of survivin in PANC-1 cells effectively.
