Abstract
Objective To study the clinical eff icacy of noninvasive positive pressure ventilation on the patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease complicated with respiratory failure. Methods 62 cases with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease complicated with respiratory failure were selected and randomly divided into two groups, observation group and control group.routine treatment were performed in control group, and on the base of the routine treatment, noninvasive positive pressure ventilation was performed in observation group. The artery blood gas was detected before the treatment and 24 hours after treatment. Results Respiratory rate, heart rate, the value of pH,PaO2 and PCO2 after treatment compared with those before treatment in two groups respectively, there was statistical difference(P0.05);Respiratory rate, heart rate, the value of pH,PaO2 and PCO2 after treatment in observation group compared with those in control group after treatment, there was statistical difference(P0.05).Conclusions Noninvasive positive pressure ventilation can improve the clinical symptoms of hronic obstructive pulmonary disease complicated with respiratory failure, and the therapy has signif icant eff icacy.
