Abstract

This essay probes into the formation and manifestations of the contradiction between public ownership and private ownership in the socialist market economy in our country, and suggests principles by which such contradiction should be understood and handled. It also discusses problems concerning the transformation of public ownership to private ownership and the process of privatization.
