Abstract
Rapid urbanization not only brings significant changes in urban space,but also has different influences on rural settlement space.The causes in spatial evolution of rural settlement resulting from the impact of urbanization are urban expansion,labor mobility between urban and rural areas,industry structural changes,infrastructure construction,and people conceptual changes.According to the differences about rural settlement trends and features of the urban-rural spatial evolution,rural settlement spatial evolution can be summarized into three types,such as initiative,passiveness and negative.The features of each type were analyzed.
