Abstract
The internationalization of China's publishing houses is a burning topic of the day, but it still has a long way to go. It requires a good understanding of the significance of internationalization and our own orientation, seizing opportunities of development and reforming our systems. The government should moderately loosen its control and offer more beneficial policy to China's publishing houses. In the meanwhile, China's publishing houses should actively improve their management and seize every chance to cooperate with the famous publishing houses in the world and learn from their advanced ideas of management. They should also make great efforts to cultivate publishing talents and their own publishing qualities and brands so as to bring about the internationalization.
