Clinical observation of Taixianjing Decoction on hemorheology of the patients with oral lichen planus

Abstract

Objective To observe the clinical effect and the influence of Taixianjing Decoction on hemorheology of patients with oral lichen planus(OLP).Methods Forty-two patients with OLP were orally adminstratied Taixianjing Decoction once a day.Three months was referred as a treatment course.The clinical effect was observed and the change of hemorheology was investigated before and after treatment.Results The total effective rate was 85.7%.The level of whole blood viscocity,blood plasma viscocity,erythrocyte aggregation index,erythrocyte deformability and fibrinogen significantly decreased after treatment(P0.01或P0.05).While erythrocyte sedimentation rate and hematocrit did not change(P0.05).Conclusion Taixianjing Decoction may improve the hemorheology of OLP patients and has an obvious therapeutic effect on OLP.
