Abstract

In order to study genetic variation among Curvularia lunata, genomic fingerprints of 22 isolates of C.lunata isolated from different corn cultivated areas of He′nan province were analyzed using 8 RAPD primers. The results of RAPD fingerprints showed that there were 89 bands among 22 isolates of C.lunata.Among them,70 bands(79%) belonged to polymorphism bands. The genetic distance and the genetic relationships of the accessions were reconstructed by using UPGMA(Unweigthted Pair-group Method with Arithmetic Average) cluster analysis. All isolates were divided into five genotypes based on threshold 0.65 of genetic distance. All above results indicated that there was abundant genetic diversity among C.lunata colony.
