Abstract
A single factor experiment design was carried out and 8 finished cattles were chosen, and there were two treatments in the trial(microbial-treated cotton stalk 350 g·cattle-1·d-1 and control only including untreated cotton stalk). The purpose of this study was finding the best combination of microbial-treated cotton stalk and multinutrient blocks in feeding finished cattles. The results showed that the diets intake and average daily gain of cattles fed microbial-treated cotton stalk were higher than cattles fed control diet significantly(P0.05).The average daily gain of cattles fed microbial-treated cotton stalk was 118 g higher than cattles fed control diet.It suggested that microbial-treated cotton stalk could rise intake and average daily gain of finished cattle and increase economic benefit. As a result,microbial-treated cotton stalk should be popularized in finished cattle production.
