Abstract

48 improved crossbred beef cattle were divided randomly into 4 groups to conduct a 70-d fattening trial in order to determine the effect of feeding common corn stalk silage, microbial silage, ammoniated silage and dry corn straw(control group) on fattening result, respectively. The results showed that average gain of treatment group were significantly higher than that of control group(P0.05),but there were not significant difference between three treatment groups for average gain of beef cattle(P0.05).
