Abstract

Livelihood strategy is the result of living actions.The various of livelihood capital and its combination make the livelihood strategy different.Ecological compensation for farmers is the most direct impact on the actual reduction in arable land,leading to food production and income decreases,a direct impact on the livelihood and the livelihood strategy of farmers.Based on the study following,as Zhangye City is concerned,you can give full play to its regional economic advantages,human capital,physical capital and financial capital levels,thereby improving the overall livelihood of the farmers' capital levels.The two main livelihood strategies are identified as the agro-based and non-agro-based livelihood strategies.Based on two types of strategy,the impact of ecological compensation patterns on livelihood strategy was quantitated.We also found that the agro-based group prefers to compensation patterns of material and technology,and pays more attention on the combination of patterns.
