Abstract
A novel chemiluminescence (CL)system for the determination of Vanadium (Ⅴ) is described. It is based on that Vanadium (Ⅴ) and molybdophosphate in sulfuric acid medium could form vanadomolybdophosphoric heteropoly acid, which could oxidize luminol to produce CL emission. The linear range of calibration curve is 5×10-9~ 1×10-5g/mL and the determination limit is 1×10-9g/mL. The system has been applied to the determination of Vanadium (Ⅴ) in water samples with satisfactory results.
