On the University Library and Information Literacy Education

Information Literacy refers to a person's basic quality,such as information needs,information awareness,information knowledge,information ethics,and information capacity.As the coming of information era,the development of society requires all the people to improve their quality of information in order to adapt to changing times.As the future builders of our country,university students should focus on their training of overall quality,especially on information literacy education.Because of their special advantages in university,In the implementation of information literacy education,university libraries deserved to be the protagonist,and on the cultivation of students' information literacy they should take the appropriate strategies in order to fully perform their functions.
