Abstract
Objective: To observe the effects of Matrine on inflammatory factor in rats with acute liver injury of carbon tetrachloride. Methods: healthy male SD rats were randomly divided into normal control group,model group,low-dose and high-dose matrine group(10,50 mg·kg-1)after normal feeding for a week. The experimental rats were administrated with Matrine by ig for 7 days,one hours after the last administration,the experimental rats were injected carbon tetrachloride to copy the acute liver injury model except control group. The contents of tumor necrosis factor-a(TNF-a),interleukin-6(IL-6),alanine aminotransferase(ALT)and aspartate aminotransferase(AST)were investigated by elisa and colorimetric methods. Results: Matrine can reduce ALT,AST,TNF-a and IL-6 levels in rats with liver injury induced by carbon tetrachloride. Conclusion: Matrine has the protective effect on acute liver damage induced by CCl4,the mechanism is related to the reduction of inflammatory factor. This effect is beneficial to the treatment of acute liver injury caused by chemical substances.
