Abstract
The poly (trimethlylene terephthalate) was synthetised by the direct esterification of terephthalic acid with 1.3-propanedid Especially, the influence of reaction condition such as the type of catalyst, the content, the content of catalyst, the molar ratio of TPA to PDO and the rate of temperature rising were studied. The results show that the reaction is practical when titanyl sulfate is used as catalyst for esterification and Sb_2O_3 is used for polycondensation
