Abstract
[Objective]To elevate the clinical diagnosis and treatment in patients with acute lung injury(ALI) or acute respiratory distress syndrome(ARDS) as a result of pulmonary infection after renal transplantation.[Methods]A retrospective analysis was made on 20 cases with ALI or ARDS as a result of pulmonary infection after renal transplantation. [Results]Twenty-eight pathogens were found in 16 patients, while no pathogen was found in other 4 cases. In all 20 cases, 16 cases(80%) were cured, 2 died, and other 2 were voluntarily discharged because of economic reasons. Six cases were cured with high flow oxygen through face mask, 8 cases were cured with non-invasive mechanical ventilation, and 2 cases were cured with invasive mechanical ventilation.[Conclusion]The correct application of mechanical ventilation could be especially important in elevating the curing rate of these patients.
