Abstract
A mathematical model was set up with the TK-2D software for the tidal flow and sedimentation in the sea area in the Oujiang Estuary. With the mathematical model, simulations and studies were made to analyze the influence of the reclamation project for Wenzhou Petrochemical Industrial Base upon the North Oujiang Estuary,Middle Waterway,Huangda'ao Waterway,Zhongshan Waterway,Shatou Waterway,Xiaomen Waterway and Huangdaxia Waterway;the flood discharge and drainage of stagnant water in the Oujiang Estuary;and the vicinal ports and sea area. The results of the studies show that the reclamation project will impose little impact upon the vicinal ports and waterways and the construction of the reclamation project for Wenzhou Petrochemical Industrial Base is feasible.
