Analysis on Women's Competition at the 42nd World Gymnastics Championships

By using the methods of documentation,video observations,etc.,the paper analyzes the performances of the top 8 women gymnasts in group,all-round and single finals at the 42nd world gymnastics championships,with the results showing that the world women's gymnastics indicates the pattern of competitions between Russia,America and China,the difficulty of the complete set of movements and their connection are the foundation of developing D points,the balance of difficulty and stability is the key to success and the perfect combination of high quality and artistic expression is the development direction of women's gymnastics.This paper,in combination with the requirements of new rules,also suggests countermeasures for the Chinese women's gymnastics team to prepare for the 2012 Olympic Games.
