Abstract
Objective To summarize the experiences of endovascular embolization in 8 cases with intracranial aneurysms by GDCS. Methods All intracranial aneurysms were embolized with GDCS,including 7 ruptured aneurysms. Results 7 cases underwent the treatment for aneurysms in one session and suffered no severe complications. Complete embolization was achieved in 4 cases, over 90% in 2 cases, less than 90% in 1 case. Conclusion GDC embolization for intracranial aneurysms is safe, microinvasive and effective, can decrease the reoccurence of aneurysm and bleeding again.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
