Optimization on extraction conditions of anthocyanins from blueberry fruit residues by orthogonal experiment

Abstract

The residues of premier rabbiteye blueberry fruit after juice extraction was used for anthocyanins extraction.The total content of extracted anthocyanins was measured with HPLC method.Based on single extracting yield,the optimal condition of supersonic wave assist extraction was obtained by orthogonal designed experiments.About 5.23mg anthocyanins was obtained from one gram blueberry fruit residues under the optimal condition:ethanol concentration 80%,extract 2 times,HCl concentration 0.3%,extraction time 30min,ratio of sample weight and solvent volume 1∶ 20,power of supersonic wave 300W,concentration of extraction temperature 30℃.High efficient utilization and enhancement of the economic value of premier rabbiteye blueberry fruit would be achieved based on our results.
