Abstract

Aimed at the question of excessive fertilization in the vegetable production, the field experiment was conducted to determine the effects of different nitrogen application on facilities pepper yield, quality and economic benefits. The results showed that the average increase rate of 3 nitrogen treatments was 54. 9% compared with the without nitrogen treatment. The highest yield( 22 560 kg / hm2) and fertilization benefits( 244 100 yuan / hm2) were observed with the treatment of N 450 kg/hm2. Increase or decrease the amount of nitrogen fertilizer( N585 and N 315 kg / hm2),the pepper production and economic benefits were both decreased, but the differences were not significant compared with the treatment of N 450 kg / hm2. With the increases in nitrogen fertilizer application, the vitamin c content gradually decreased. The content of reducing sugar was not remarkable difference among the treatments. 315 kg / hm2 was the optimum amount of nitrogen fertilizer for pepper, which will bring optimal yield, quality, economic benefit and environment benefit.
