Clinical observation of cryotherapy and bifonazole in the treatment of malassezia folliculitis

Abstract

Objective To study the clinical meaning and effect comparison between the cryotherapy and 1% bifonazole cream treatment of the Malassezia Folliculitis.Method 66 cases of patients were selected and devided into two groups,one group used cryotherapy and the other used topical 1% bifonazole cream.Results Weekly follow-up and recorded every patients′ changes in the skin lesions and adverse effect,observation of 4 consecutive weeks,treatment and control groups overall cure rate were 82.35% and 81.22% respectively,there was no significant difference between the two groups(P0.05).Conclusion Cryotherapy and 1% bifonazole cream have the same effect,and provide an easy way to the clinical treatment of Malassezia Folliculitis.
