Abstract

Analysis were made on the advantages of application of native ground covers to urban landscaping and the problems existed such as few species, narrow distribution, etc. and causes. 37 species were recommended with high ornamental value such as Cyrtomium fortunei, Asarum sieboldii, etc. Proposals for further development of native ground covers were also put forwarded.
