Abstract
Through a practical engineering,the author introduces the second design of foundation treatment scheme,discusses the concept and element of long-and-short pile design,discusses calculating method of underlying stratum in long-and-short pile composite foundation,and proves that it can comfort the requirement of bearing capacity and settlement under certain conditions to meet the purpose of saving fund.
