Investigation of Township Hospitals in Weifang City

Objectives By investigating the status quo of township hospitals in Weifang,suggestions were put forward for the development of health service in township area.Methods 66 township hospitals were selected through method of stratified random sampling and a investigation was conducted among them with questionnaires.Results Differences in terms of owner,certification of legal person,houses for operational business and constitution of human resources were statistically significant(P0.01).The difference in provision of services between township hospitals in the city and country level was statistically significant(P0.01).Conclusions We should strengthen the construction of infrastructure,To solve the education level is generally low,into the insurance problems,And we should strengthen the public health service.The construction of infrastructure of township hospitals should be strengthened.Problems like a general low education background of health workers,uninsured part of the township hospitals need to be solved.Public health service should be promoted.
