Abstract
【Objective】 The mechanism of 1-methylcyclopropen treatment for delaying postharvest softening of fragrant pear fruit was studied in order to supply the basis for fresh storage of pear fruit.【Method】 Korla fragrant pears were used to investigate the effect of 1-methylcyclopropene treatment on firmness,content of pectin and cellulose of fruit treated with 1-MCP and stored in room temperature.【Result】 Results showed that 1-MCP maintained a higher firmness of fruit at room temperature,reduced the degradative rate of the content of pectin and cellulose and obviously inhibited the rising of PG and CX activity.【Conclusion】1-MCP treatment was able to keep the firmness and decline the softening progress of the pear fruit.
