Abstract
The traditional purchasing models of colleges and universities are booklist booking and books purchasing in bookstores. But under internet conditions, purchasing on net and group purchasing appear. Different models have their own advantages and disadvantages. Under the new situations, the libraries should improve the old model by combining net purchasing with purchasing in bookstores, by combining ordering with purchasing in bookstores and the main purchasing channel with that of special bookstores.
