Abstract

Water resources shortage and ecological environment deterioration are major restricted factors for social and economic development of the Shaanxi Guanzhong plain.By analyzing the status of water resources utilization,water and sediment charac- teristics and ecological environment,the main problems of water resources and ecological environment in the Yellow River basin are pointed out,the roots of which are analyzed,and countermeasures and suggestions are also put forward.
