Clinical Study on Patients with Chronic Severe Hepatitis B Treated by Traditional Chinese Medicine in Multichannel

Objective: To observe the therapeutic effect on chronic severe hepatitis B treated by Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)in multichannel.Methods:55 patients with chronic severe hepatitis B in earlier period and metaphase were randomly divided into control group of 27 cases and treatment group of 28 cases.Both groups adopted the treatment of basis western medicine.Additionally,the treatment group was treated with Detoxification Pill by differentiation of symptoms and signs,Radix Salviae Miltiorrhiae powder acupuncture and Chinese herbs enema.To observe the effect on clinical symptoms,biochemical indicators and prothrombin activity with different treatment.Results:The total effective rate and marked improving rate in the treatment group was 71.43%(20/28 cases)and 39.29%(11/28 cases)respectively,while those in the control group,51.85%(14/27cases)and 14.81%(4/27 cases)respectively.The marked improving rate was showed significant difference between the two groups(P0.05).Both the treatment group and control group can improve aminotransferase and PTA;Compared with the control group,the treatment group can more effectively descrease TBil and DBil increase PTA(P0.05,PDBil0.01).Conclusion:Treatment to chronic severe hepatitis B with TCM in multichannel can validly regress jaundice and improve prothrombin activity.
