The Situation of Medical Graduates' Employment and Strategies on Employment Guidance

With the rapid development of higher medical education in China,and the dramatic increase of graduates from medical colleges and universities,medical graduates have been confronted with fierce competition for employment and challenges.Beginning with the introduction of the situation of medical graduates' employment in the past three years in our university,this paper analyzes the causes of problems existing in medical graduates' employment,and advances such strategies on employment guidance as carrying out ideological and political education among medical graduates,professional awareness education,education about employment policy and employment psychological health,training in skills of seeking employment,and employment services.It is expected to help medical graduates establish the concept of employment,i.e.,reasonable orientation,early employment.
