Abstract
This paper uses mechanic dynamic analysis software ADAMS to build a virtual prototype of the Stewart Parallel Kinematics Machine Tool, gives the detail of simplified method of model, ADAMS description of model, control of simulating process. The virtual prototyping model of the PMT provides the theoretic foundation and main parameters for the system design, production and application in experiment. It shows the simulation for the kinematics and dynamics of PMT, realizes an effective method for the engineering design with the CAE software on computer.
