Abstract

The aim of vertebral plasty is to alleviate pain and enhance the stability of the vertebral body through the injection of bone cements into the vertebral site lesions. Its treating principles, long-term effect, and complications are closely related to biomechan-ics, so much attention is widely paid to its biomechanic. In this paper, we reviewed the biomechanics research methods of vertebral strengthening and biomechanics properties after vertebral strengthening, summarized the influence factors and degree of vertebral strengthening effect, and made prospective considerations for the existing problems and prospects in biomechanics research of vertebral strengthening.
