Abstract

Spore morphology of 5 species of genus Cryptogramma from China was examined by SEM. Each spore was described in detail. The taxonomic status of Cryptogramma was discussed. The spore morphology of the genus is uniform basically, trilete, radiosymmetric, polar view obtuse triangular, equatorial view semiorbicular or super semiorbicular. The contour of spore ornamentation is formed by both perispore and exospore, verrucate or verrucate with granulate on the surface of spore.
