Pathological Features and Diagnosis of Nasal NK/T-Cell Lymphoma

Purpose To study the ehnicopathological features of nasal NK/T cell lymphoma,and to elucidate its diagnoses and differential diagnosis.Methods The clinical data of 62 cases with nasal NK/T cell lymphoma were analyzed retrospectively and the expressions of LCA,CD45RO,CD3,L26,CD79a,CD56 and TLA were examined in these cases. Results 43 cases were diagnosed as nasal NK/T-cell lymphoma,19 cases as T-cell lymphoma.Conclusion In nasal NK/T-cell lymphoma,the immunophenotypes of CD56 was not always positive;the location of the positive reaction to CD3 of NK/T cell lymphoma in paraffin section was different from T-cell lymphoma;cytotoxic granule protein TIA-1 was highly expressed.Application of these three antibody expressions would increase diagnostic rate.(Chin J Ophthalmol and Otorhinolaryngol,2007,7:27-28)
