Abstract
A WC-CoCr coating was deposited on 300M steel substrate by high velocity oxy-fuel(HVOF) spraying process.The microstructure,microhardness,phase composition,wear resistance,and corrosion resistance of the coating were studied,and the properties of the coating were compared with a electroplated hard chromium coating.The results indicated that the WC-CoCr coating prepared by HVOF has superior wear and corrosion resistance to the hard chromium coating,and can be an alternative to hard chromium coating for anti-wear application.
