Abstract
This paper introduces a AT89S51 single-chip microcomputer as the main controller of the basic principle of the ultrasonic range finder. Measurement error analysis of reasons, to find out the main reasons of error is put forward to design the circuit of temperature, the temperature sensor AD590 detection based on environmental temperature, temperature compensation for the ultrasonic propagation speed, temperature acquisition andcompensation design idea, improves the precision of measurement. It is proved by experiments that the tempera-ture compensation circuit design, error is greatly reduced, errorin the mm level, most also control at the centimeter level, measurement accu-racy can begreatly improved, fully meet the requirements of measurement.
