Discussion on Development and Countermeasures of Highway Environmental Assessment

During the 8th-Five-Year Plan and the 9th-Five-Year Plan,with the rapid development of highway construction in China,the environmental assessment of highway construction projects develops very quickly,and a relatively complete environmental assessment system has come into being.But at the same time,some questions exist such as regulations and technical specification system is relatively lagging behind.The assessment only restricted to environmental impact assessment,low diathesis of the personnel and so on.So it should be perfected from the following aspects such as perfecting the highway environmental assessment system and the regulation and technical specifications related to highway environmental protection,exploring new techniques and methods as well as enforcing personnel training.
