Metaphor: Undeniable Poetry Itself——On Metaphorical Characters of Poetic Language in the 1980s

Based on Hayden White's postmodern historical narratology,this paper analyzes poetry-writing techniques of nebulosity poetry,the third-generation poetry and irony poetry in the 1980s in China.They represented different stages of poetry writing of that historical period,and embodied discourse characters of metaphorical composition,which exerts positive constructional significances and influences on contemporary poetry-writing.
