Abstract

On studying the basic principle of Smart Phone system and Short Message Service system,and grasping some knowledge about SMS network architecture and the SMS service under mobile system,an SMS module on PALM OS 6.1 is developed,which is based on GSM protocol system. The short message service model is based on GSM short message,and implements the running of short message service by SMPP model. Component architectures are used to support the design and reuse of the function modules. The system implements receiving and sending messages efficiently by AT command.
