Treatment of 30 cases of diabetic nephropathy of qi-yin deficiency and blood stasis by "Kangle-III Decoction" and western medicine

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Kangle-Ⅲ Decoction and western medicine in the treatment of diabetic nephropathy of qi-yin deficiency and blood stasis.Methods Sixty cases were randomized into two groups: treatment group in which 30 cases were treated with routine therapy and Kangle-Ⅲ Decoction,and control group in which 30 cases were treated with routine therapy alone,with a course of four weeks.The clinical efficacy,syndrome effect,the contents of urinary albumin excretion(UAER),serum creatinine(Scr),fasting blood sugar(FBG),total cholesterol(TC) and triglycerides(TG) were observed.Results The total effective rates of clinical efficacy and syndrome effect were respectively 76.67% and 90.00% in the treatment group,and 50.00% and 46.67% in the control group,with differences between the two groups(P0.05).After treatment,the UAER,Scr,BUN,24hPG,FBG,TC and TG were all improved in the treatment group(P0.05),while only the Scr and FBG were improved in the control group(P0.05);there were striking differences in the contents of UAER,Scr,BUN,TC and TG between the two groups(P0.05,P0.01).Conclusion Kangle-Ⅲ Decoction and western medicine is quite effective for diabetic nephropathy of qi-yin deficiency and blood stasis.
