Abstract

This paper introduces a process of parametric design based on UG/Part Families and UG/Open by taking straight guide bushing for example. The process includes the establishment of parametric shape library by UG/Part Families, the design of user interface with UG/Open MenuScript and UG/Open Uistyler, the development of dynamic link library with VC++ and the demo of calling standard parts in Unigraphics .
