Abstract

By combination management technology of scarification, fertilization and pruning, growth regular of rhizome from mother bamboo, triennial and annual seedling bamboo in Phyllostachys pubesens were studied. The results indicate that the combination management technology can improve soil structure and nutrient condition, so rhizome grows quickly, and is high quality and distribute evenly; in the experimental area, rhizome of triennial seedling bamboo expand most widely, crown is closed most quickly. Then it is followed by annual seedling bamboo, and mother bamboo in turn. After cultivation for 4 years, the mean diameter at breast height of triennial seedling bamboo forest can reach 2. 7 cm, and that of mother bamboo cultivated in the same period is 5. 1 cm.
