Abstract
Women in Han Dynasty had ownership in marriage,whether in self-spouseing,getting divorced or in remarrying,women maintained a relatively independent personality and had not wholly become the vassal of men.However in the feudal society with male superiority,the oppression and discrimination against women remained serious.The social status of female groups in Han Dynasty were subjected to their status in the social structure.
