Abstract
From the point view of teachers, this paper discusses six basic teaching principles in vocabulary teaching and three aspects in guiding students'vocabulary learning methods.The paper claims that in teaching vocabulary,there should be set explicit objectives and principles,reasonable plans and vivid and effective methods.Meanwhile learning in class and after class should be combined and the same is also true of direct vocabulary learning and incidental vocabulary acquisition.
