Abstract

Objective To explore the impact of health education to alleviate asthma in children,to provide the appropriate basis for health education and clinical care.Methods Asthma children were randomly divided into intervention group 91 cases and control group 88 cases,in April 2008-2009 years the first time in our hospital asthma clinic visits.Control group received conventional treatment,intervention group was treated on the basis of health education interventions,compared the number of emergency visits,hospitalization frequency and peak expiratory flow(PEF) values.Results Intervention group children were followed up for six months the number of asthma attacks,emergency visits and hospitalizations were lower than control group patients,the difference was statistically significant(P0.05).Intervention group PEF(percentage of predicted value or a percentage of personal best value) value higher,the difference was significant(P0.05).Conclusion Health education for children with asthma attack relief plays an important role.
