Abstract
The seepage lines of dam in Yunleng Reservoir are abnormal. For evaluating dam stability, the seepage characteristics of dam need to be analyzed accurately.A three-dimensional seepage calculation model is established for the dam on the basis of actual seepage line measurements and on-site hole-drilled water injection test results. The model is used for the back analysis to determine the permeability coefficient of each zone in dam and to evaluate the stability of dam.The comprehensive analyses show that the three-dimensional model based on observed date can objectively reflect dam seepage flow and stability characteristic, and provide a theoretical basis and analysis method for the stability evaluation of roller compacted earth dam.
