Abstract

When the water temperature and pH ranged between 28.5 and 29.4℃ ,7.6 and 8.1 respectively, study of various salinities on the adaptability of juveniles (shell height 9.77±0.19mm) of Chlamys nobilis(Reeve) by adopting indoor experiments was investigated. Results showed that the suitable survival salinity was 24.27~37.18, the optimum survival salinity was 26.91~32.13;The suitable growth salinity was 24.56~37.09, the optimum growth salinity was 26.91~29.52. When the change in salinity was beyond optima, the varieties in low salinity had more significant influence than the ones in high salinity to relative survival rate, daily growth of shell height , daily growth of body weight between the suitable survival salinity.
