Abstract
Objective To study the changes in cell cycle of tumor cell lines after X\|irradiation with different doses and to provide the scientific basis for radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Methods The changes of cell cycle were analyzed by flow cytometry. Results 12 hours after irradiation,HelaS3 and S180 cell lines showed significant S and G2 arrest.EL\|4 showed significant G1 and G2 arrest 24 hours after irradiation. The number of B16 cells did not show any significant changes in all phases of cell cycle 2\|27 hours after irradiation with 0 5\|4 Gy X\|rays. Conclusion Radioresistance or radiosensitivity is varied in different tumor cell lines and the pattern of changes in cell cycle might be different after irradiation.\;
