Abstract

Objective To analyze the characteristics of ultrasonic cardiogram(UCG) on patients with left ventricular hypertrophy(LVH) caused by hypertension accompanying with left heart failure(LHF).Methods 40 cases of patients with LVH due to hypertension and LHF in our hospital from April 2009 to April 2013 were selected and categorized as research group.38 healthy people for physical examinations were classified into control group in the same period.By ultrasound examination, the characteristics of UCG in both groups including left ventricular end diastolic dimension(LVEDD),left ventricular end systolic dimension(LVESD),left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),early left atrioventricular flow E,and ratio of E and A was comparatively analyzed. Results The index like LVEDD,LVESD,LVEF,early left atrioventricular flow E,and ratio of E and A,etc.in the research group compared with that in the control group, there was statistical difference(P0.05).Conclusion For patients suffering from LVH caused by hypertension accompanying with LHF,the diagnosis of UCG which is based on its characteristics to determine the severity of diseases plays an important clinical application value. It provides a good reference for physicians tackling this kind of disease.
