Abstract
Objective To study the chemical constituents of rhizome and root of Ligusticum jeholense Nakai et Kitag. Methods The compounds were isolated by the chromatography methods, and their structures were identified by spectral analysis. Results Seven compounds were isolated and identified as ferulic acid(1),isoferulic acid(2),daucosterol(3),vanillic acid(4),tangertin(5),nobiletin(6)and 3′,4′,3,5,7-pentamethoxy flavone(7).Conclusions Compounds 2,5 and 6 are obtained from this genus for the first time.Compounds 3,4 and 7 are isolated from this plant for the first time.
